Nice idea
The bag is substantial to hold most everything you'd need on a hike, walk, it just out shopping. Adjustable strap is convenient and comes with shorter one also. Carrying a large cup or water bottle does make it heavy for me, an older person. Bought to use while at Rocky mountain national Park also it has worked very well.
